Lash Extensions

Hey guys-

I am posting some pictures of some recent clients that have had individual lash extensions done by me. :) I really have liked these over the clumps you get at the store- they last up to 6 weeks with proper care and with regular fills they last longer. I use medical grade glue- NO FORMALDEHYDE- so the glue doesn't cause irritation or problems. Each lash is synthetic and is put on individually, it makes for a great polished look! The BEST thing about these ones, after the glue thoroughly dries- you can use mascara (not waterproof) to blend them with out the worry of them pulling out or falling apart! They grow out with your natural lash, reason for the fills, it's as if they are your natural lash.

The lashes that you can get in the strips are great for single use, and I love them for that! They give and immediate (and QUICK) full, lush look; these ones are great for longer lashes, or to fix broken lashes. On to the pics!

Gratitude

This post is on the personal side of things- With tomorrow being Thanksgiving, I have a lot to be grateful for. Right now it may not seem like it, with all the financial distraught, but I live in a blessed country. With Freedom that others fight for me to maintain, and more often than not I take for granted, I have a job, a roof over my head and a surplus of material things. I have more opportunities to be successful at life, my career and my relationships than most in today's world. I have a family who loves me, and a husband who works hard to make sure we have a good life. He is ambitious, motivated, successful, smart, my Friend, and best of all he loves me. He works hard for each of us here in the homeland- when we have our scary moments in life when we don't know what to do, he is there to make sure all is well. I am grateful for AL

L those who are here to protect us as a society so that we can carry on with our day to day lives and not have to worry about the horrible and sad things that happen all around us.

I am grateful for my friendships and my dearly loved ones, those that are near and afar. Your impact on my life has shaped me in the paths we walk together. I am who I am because of you, and for that I am truly grateful. My faith in a supreme being, my Father in Heaven, and the love he shows me everyday- Is beautiful in it's self. I believe that through the mere example of loving one another for who we each are and what we bring to this life is a lesson in life we all need to learn. Those that live their life and show their love for the savior in ALL they do, teach me. Thank you for that. I love you all, and thank you for being who you are.

New Hair! & pics of Transiberian Orchestra Concert

Hey Guys!

Love the new style? I do! :) It's funky- and fresh, just like me! he he he. Kim at MHD did the cut and color- fabulous eh? I had her do it the night of the TSO concert I went to with my hubby this last week. Have you heard their music? Christmas with Rock and Roll, I heard their song "Christmas eve Sarajevo" in NYC on my Honeymoon and fell in love with them! They are 10x's the performance on stage- although I do love listening to the CD!! The best part was, WE had 4th row seats!! I can't believe how close we were! The pictures I have are from my phone so the resolution isn't the greatest, but I tried to capture the moment. For me I know how amazing they were- hope you can see too! :)

Moore Hair Design

Hey guys-

I have been MIA from blogging because I am trying to get my foot in the door with a few salon's and spa's in the area for work. It's been a huge process- deciding to either go commission or booth rent. Both have their advantages and their disadvantages, for me it's been weighing them both as well as finding a place that I feel has the best atmosphere for my clients.

My clients need a place that they feel they can come and relax, wind down from the every day stress. Even more so when it comes to our struggles these day's. They need to feel welcome in the salon/spa that I work for and know that they will be taken care of when they come. Facials and pedicures are in a sense a "luxury" item- but my work is more than those two treatments alone. Taking care of your skin is more important today than it was 10 years ago. I am an educator on how to resolve issues concerning your skin. That's what I have been trained to do and I love it!

I finally decided to go with Moore Hair Design, doing booth rent. It's a PT gig for now, I need to build my clientele base first, it's my desire to eventually do this with out the need of a hourly wage. ( www.moorehairdesign.com ) She has a private room that I use for all my treatments, it's a cute little place. First a home, she converted the main level into a salon and uses the up stairs rooms as Esthetic's rooms, there's two of us who rent both. She has 7-8 stylists that work for her on the main floor, there are about 4-6 at a time there. My most favorite part, If I don't want to work one day- I don't have to be there. ( although if I'm not there with clients I don't make any money- that's the down side )

I use Dermalogica and Rhonda Allison for my facials and skin care treatments. She sells Dermalogica out of the salon for our clients and I brought in Rhonda Allison for my personal use, they carry a Chemical peel line that is fantastic! I have featured both product lines on here with my favorite pics'. I will be offering discounts and freebies for those who read these posts and schedule appointments with me. Some will be time sensitive and others will be for who ever reads them. They will be stated either way so there won't be any confusion. :) Thanks for reading!
